I know, right? It's basically the literary precursor to Dark Shadows. I still can't believe it hasn't been adapted into any other medium yet, honestly. Despite its technical...issues, Dracula owes a lot to it. And that's one thing I dig about your adaptation so far: Varney has a unique, terrifying look to him, but I can easily see him placed among the classic vampires like Universal and Hammer used to do (a style begging for a comeback if you ask me).
Also, while I'm at it, Doc Monster and Ghost Zero kick all kinds of ass. Dark Horse picked up Black Beetle from Francesco Francavilla. If you ask me, now it's your turn.
